Dressage rider’s national success

A DRESSAGE competitor from Halton Fenside has been crowned national champion on a horse which had been out of action through injury all year.
Victoria Glasow, 24, and her horse Willumait won the under 25 advanced medium restricted category at the national finals in Leverton last week.
She later picked up a second place trophy on another horse Abel IV belonging to Lynn and Nick Savage at the same competition.
She said: “I’m so pleased with the success I’ve had over the last month. The last three years have been difficult because my horse has been injured so winning the national title on him is just amazing.”
Victoria, who currently works as a mobile nail technician, has been competing since the tender age of five and has already amassed an impressive trophy haul at regional and national competitions.
Spurred on by her recent successes, Victoria is hoping for more national titles at next month’s senior championships in Warwickshire.
