Dementia cafe in Skegness seeks new members

A local dementia cafe is looking for new members to attend their weekly morning sessions.

The cafe takes place every Thursday from 10-11:30am at Barratt Court, Lyndhurst Avenue, Skegness, PE25 2PQ.

It is run by Magna Vitae and organiser Kara wishes to invite new members to come down and join in the fun.

Throughout the morning puzzles are provided, and indoor games and activities are orgnaised for visitors to enjoy.

All the activities aim to promote movement and wellbeing in both sufferers and their carers.

Participation in activities is optional, but the cafe is a great place for those affected by dementia and their carers to feel at home and enjoy the company of others.

Tea, coffee and refreshments are provided, and it is a great opportunity to meet new people and socialise in a comfortable and friendly setting.
