Deafblind charity offering runners the chance to compete in the 2013 Virgin London Marathon

Sense, the charity for deafblind people, is offering budding athletes from Lincolnshire the chance to achieve the ambition of a lifetime and run the Virgin London Marathon.

The charity, which provides services across the Midlands has an allocation of gold bond places on offer for the famous race in April.

Tara Hamdi from Sense, said: “The Virgin London Marathon is one of the greatest in the world but getting a place is hard, so Sense wants to offer local runners the chance to run for a cause close to home.

“Whether you are a marathon veteran or a first timer we offer unlimited support all the way through this unique experience.”

If you would like to run for Sense and can raise a minimum sponsorship, you can register online at www.sense.org.uk/londonmarathon, call the Marathon Hotline - 0845 127 0063 or email: marathon@sense.org.uk - but hurry as the closing date is February 1.
