Holidaymakers, residents and visitors have been flocking since this morning to the Three 9s Gala being held in Pier Field in North Parade, Skegness.
The well-attended event is set to continue until at least 4pm with a whole host of stalls on offer including; representatives from the emergency services, the RNLI, ambulance service, Coastguard and many more on hand to give advice.
There is also a huge range of stalls for people to browse, from crafts and bargains to charity stands.
Anne Stocks, branch co-ordinator for the Skegness branch of the Cats Protection, said: It’s been a very busy day, it’s going very well and charities need all the money they can raise at the moment.”
And Pamela Rockliffe of the Kidney Research UK stand said the Carnival events so far had been ‘very good’ and the day have been ‘doing well’.
“It helps us raise for charity and we have a tombola stall event coming up on August 24 set for within the Hildreds,” Pamela added.
There is also a BBQ with food and snacks, ice cream and lots of fun things for children to do this afternoon.
