Councillors give out their community grants

East Lindsey District councillors have made a number of community grants.

They are as follows: Coun Fiona Brown has given £200 to Chapel St Leonards Carnival Club towards the cost of publicity for the 2014 carnival.

She also gave £200 to New Horizons towards rent and resources.

Furthermore, she gave £200 to Anderby Parish Council to buy a public bench.

l Coun Hazel Newcombe gave £300 to the 1st Hogsthorpe Brownies towards venue rent, equipment, trips and badges.

l Coun Mark Anderson gave £500 to East Coast Junior Bullets under 12s to buy protective jackets for players.

l Coun Roderick Williams gave £500 to the Spilsby Pavilion and Recreation Ground to buy and fit hand driers in the pavilion’s toilets.

l Coun Janet Harrison gave £800 to Mareham le Fen Village Hall and Memorial Lawn towards consultants to help put together a Lottery funding application for a new village hall.

l Coun Kevin Smith gave £250 to Wainfleet Young Farners towards advertising and hall hire.
