Bikers numbering 125 from across the UK road off into the night at sunset recently with one aim in mind, to arrive in Skegness in time to watch the sunrise.
Setting off from Holyhead riders arrived at the Storehouse in Skegness after their 261-mile ride in time for sunrise at 4.40am, greeted by Skegness Mayor Coun George Saxon and Mayoress Julie Saxon.
The weary bikers enjoyed tea and bacon baps supplied by the venue and reflected on the past seven hours before their individual journeys home.
The last two rides raised £35,0000 for Macmillan Cancer Support and so far this years ride has raised £16,000.
The next ride is scheduled for January 1, 2015. Visit www.bikers4macmillan.org.uk for more information.
