Creative young Christmas card designers from the Spilsby area recently received prizes for their artistic efforts.
Toynton All Saints’ three winning entries in Spilsby Lions’ annual Cracker Day competition were each presented with £7.50 by the Mayor of Spilsby Coun Michael Lenton on behalf of the event’s sponsors Sills and Betteridge Solicitors.
Coun Lenton said judging the competition and been ‘virtually impossible’ due to the superb standard of its entries.
He added: “There were more than 300 entries and we could choose just 16 winner from the various schools and categories but we could have easily chosen a totally different set of winners because they were all so good.”
