The Chatsworth Hotel and bed and breakfast on North Parade held a barbecue raising money for Cancer Research
A disco took place at the front of the hotel to entice passers-by to donate money.
Sales of barbecue food also added to the fundraising and the event was opened by Skegness Deputy Mayor Coun Carl Macey and Skegness Town Manager Lisa Collins.
Both also helped with the barbecue, cooking the first batch of burgers.
Skegness’ own Jolly Fisherman also made an appearance to support the event.
With live entertainment from singer Marty Wilson, face painting and a raffle, just under £500 was raised.
Hotel manager Brian Sewell said: “The day went really well and was very well supported by visitors and locals.
