Charity night to raise cash for boy
A CHARITY fun and fundraising night raising funds for Courtney, a local 10 year old boy, will take place on Friday, September 28 from 8pm onwards, at The Royal Oak pub in Winthorpe.
Courtney contracted Meningitis at 17 months old and as a result had to have his legs amputated.
The charity night will raise funds for much needed equipment to help make his and his family’s life a little easier.
On the night there is a buffet, priced at £5 a head and great entertainment all night including an Elvis tribute, a fire eater, local band ‘Them 2 ladz’ and a giant raffle. Towards the end of the night, drag queen ‘The Duchess’ will also make an appearance!
