Charity Burns’ Night to be held in Skendleby
A Burns’ Night themed evening of entertainment, raising funds for two worthy causes will be taking place in Skendleby on Friday, January 25.
The Blacksmiths Arms will be providing a Scottish feast, featuring ‘haggis, neeps and tatties,’ cock-a-leekie soup and other delicious treats including vegetarian options.
Landlord SimonJones said: “It’s going to be a fantastic night and all the funds will go towards good causes.”
There will also be musical entertainment from talented rockabilly band Sally’s Army and a chance to win a £50 meat raffle.
Money raised on the night will be shared between the Alzheimer’s Society and Help for Homeless in Skegness, which were chosen by the pub’s customers .
The Night begins at 6pm and visitors are invited to dress in Scottish attire.
