Centre's medieval fundraiser
The Middle Ages came galloping into the 21st century at Spilsby's Northcote Heavy Horse Centre on Sunday.
The animal welfare charity held a Medieval Tournament to help raise much-needed funds for its operation.
The 15th anniversary event featured displays of birds of prey, medieval riding skills, and more. In all, more than £2,000 was raised on the day.

Hide AdEarlier this month the centre made a crisis plea for help amid challenging financial times.
Following Sunday’s event, centre manager Terena Bolam said: “We are still very much in crisis and, although the day went well, we still need help and support, particularly financial.”
The centre’s next fundraisers will be a summer fete on June 26 and a medieval banquet on July 16. More at www.northcotehorses.com
