A new CCTV image has been released featuring missing Nottingham mother Elaine Harrison.

A renewed appeal has been launched to find a missing Nottingham mum after she did not return home for Christmas, by police.

Elaine Harrison has been missing since Monday, December 9, 2013 and friends thought she could have travelled to the Skegness area but the search continues.

Nottingham Police confirm that Elaine’s family has spent the festive season hoping she would be found or return of her own accord.

But Elaine, 59, remains missing and her family is urging her to let them know where she is and that she is safe.

Officers continue to review CCTV footage and have released a new image in the hope that it will spark someone’s memory of seeing Elaine, or be seen by Elaine herself.

Elaine is thought to have left her house boat moored at Castle Marina at around 3pm on December 9 and was seen walking past Sainsbury’s petrol station towards Queen’s Drive in Nottingham at 3.45pm.

“In this new image Elaine is pictured about five minutes later, at 3.50pm, walking over Castle Bridge Road, past Homebase, towards Queen’s Drive,” said a police spokesperson.

A scarf thought to belong to her was found on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, in the area around the Notts County Football ground but enquiries are not being limited to this area.

Elaine Harrison is white, 5ft 2ins tall and of large build. She has grey collar-length hair and was last seen wearing dark bottoms, white trainers and a grey fleece with cream fur trim. She also wears silver framed glasses.

If you have seen Elaine, or know where she might be, please contact the police on 101 or call Crimestoppers.
