Alford woman fined over criminal damage to television

Jelena Courtney Stoyles, 19, of Parsons Lane in Alford, was sentenced at Skegness Magistrates' Court on June 17 after she pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to a television.

Stoyles pleaded guilty to the offence at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on January 26, in which she admitted she had damaged the television worth £240 which belonged to Caine Culley, on December 22 last year.

In court on June 17, Stoyles was given a 12 month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £100 in compensation, pay £85 in court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

At her court hearing on January 26, Stoyles pleaded not guilty to a charge of committing assault against a woman in Mount Pleasant, Alford, on December 23.

She was found not guilty of this charge in court on June 16, and it was dismissed.
