Alford’s John Spendluffe Technology College held its annual GCSE certificate evening recently.
The event, held in November, was a chance for students to collect their qualification certificates achieved in the summer.

It was an informal evening that gave students a chance to get together with teaching staff and their peers to celebrate a bumper year for results.

“Staff enjoyed the opportunity to find out more about the courses and apprenticeships that students are now taking part in,” said a spokesperson for the college.

“For many students having moved onto different colleges and schools it was a time to reflect on their time at John Spendluffe.

“Staff were particularly pleased to note that many students appreciated the support they were given whilst at school which students described as exceptional, enabling them to take the next steps towards their career goals.

“The evening was very well attended and an enjoyable reminder of a great academic year for the college and a talented group of young people,” they added.
