County Coun Chris Pain recently presented a cheque to the Wainfleet Coronation Hall.
The cheque for £1,000 had been donated from the Lincolnshire County Council’s Big Society Fund.
The Wainfleet and Burgh ‘Independence From Europe’ Coun Chris Pain handed over the cheque to the hall’s trustees.
Receiving the donation is Town Coun, Paul Garrill (left) and Anton Willerton (right).
The funds will go towards emergency repairs on the building.
Coun Pain said: “The Coronation Hall plays a large part in the local community, being a hall widely used for various functions. One of the main major events held there is the yearly Christmas pantomime.”
