St Norbert’s Church in Spalding was packed for the Lincolnshire Road Death Remembrance Service, where the emergency services were thanked for the amazing work they do each year in preventing such tragedies.
Led by the Rt Rev Patrick McKinney, members of the congregation were invited to write the names of loved ones they had lost in road collisions and accidents and put them on a remembrance tree.
Nicola Hall Rushton, assistant headteacher at Sir John Gleed School, was invited along with head girl Millie Barnett and head boy Kai Weston to represent their school.
She said: “It was an absolutely beautiful service”. Kai and Millie are pictured with the order of service. SG171115-122TW
