A Skegness Liberal Social Club charity evening has been hailed a “big success” by organisers after it raised £2,150 for local charity Keith’s Rescue Dogs.

Entertainment was provided by Steve Martin Entertainments and 11 of his “fabulous artists”, who entertained the members.

“It was a fantastic night for all to enjoy,” said a spokesperson.

Mr Woodward, the club’s secretary, has thanked the artist, club members and the committee for all of their hard work and contributions over the last six months. The cheque was presented to Keith’s Rescue Dogs by Joyce Langworth, the club’s entertainment secretary. Keith has hailed the “fantastic amount” and thanked all who helped to raise it.

Keith’s Rescue Dogs relies solely on donations. It takes in local dogs, provides care for them and finds new homes.
