Knife threat man stole bag in Skegness from woman aged 64

Police are seeking witnesses after a 64-year-old woman was threatened in Skegness by a man who claimed he had a knife.

The woman was approached in Church Road North about 7pm on Saturday.

After she refused to give him her handbag, the man made threats suggesting he had a knife, although no weapon was seen.

He ran off towards the churchyard when the woman eventually gave him her handbag.

The man is described as in his 30s, scruffy looking and wearing a hooded top with the hood up.
