DEDICATED staff at a popular Skegness chain restaurant decided to hold a fun day all in aid of charity on Saturday.

The team at Pizza Hut, based in the Industrial Estate, held the family fun day on site, where there was a children’s bouncy castle, a book stall, a cake stall, among others.

There was also a tombola, a raffle with three fabulous prizes which included a children’s mountain bike for the first prize, a bad boy teddy bear toy for second and a bottle of wine for the third place. It ran from 11am till 5pm and all the money raised from the day and a number of other week long fund raising activities of just over £800 went to the Cancer Research UK charity. Other branches of Pizza Hut are said to be running events to raise money for the charity.
