A team from a Skegness fitness centre is taking on a challenge for charity - and you could be joining them.
For the second year running staff and members from Fresh Fitness, in Richmond Drive, are entering the extreme so-called Tough Mudder event and hope to raise plenty of cash for Help the Heroes.
The team will be challenged with ice water, jumping from heights underwater tunnels, fire, barbed wire and lots of mud.
They will be taking on obstacles that will challenge them in all different situations of life such as dealing with heights and claustrophobia.
Fitness manager Mark Belton told The Standard: “We wanted to raise some money for charity and try to get people involved and hopefully overcome some of their fears.
“We hope to raise as much as we can get - above £500 would be great but if we can reach four figures that would be fantastic.
“Last year we raised £600.”
The event is being held at Cholmondeley Estate in Cheshire on September 13.
If you want to join them, or make a donation, call Fresh Fitness on 01754 769265.
Fresh Fitness is also holding a members charity barbecue on Saturday to raise money, where the staff will be auctioned off for them to complete extreme challenges. There will be entertainment and a bouncy castle.
