A FAMILY fun day raised hundreds of pounds for St Mary’s Church in Hogsthorpe.
The event was held on Saturday at the Helsey House Cottages near Hogsthorpe where over £700 was raised.
The funds will go towards repairs to the church windows and the interior of the building.
Local band Slick Shift 56 provided some foot tapping music and games of skittles and golf were also played.
Cakes were sold and children were able to enjoy pony rides, hook-a-duck, cuddly toy stalls and a lucky dip stand.
Elizabeth Elvidge, joint owner, said: “For the more daring, they tried their hand at archery and shooting and others tried out Tai Chi for the first time.
“Our grateful thanks go to Lincs Co-op, Tesco and Morrisons who donated prizes.
“Thanks also go to all the many folk who helped on the day or contributed towards its success with cakes, prizes, bric-a-brac and for just coming along to support us.”
