A Christmas fayre event will be taking place this Saturday (November 10) to help raise money for a dedicated dog charity.
Volunteers for Keith’s Rescue Dogs are holding the festive event from 2pm at St Clements Church Hall, Skegness.
There will be Christmas gifts, bric-a-brac, stalls, and a raffle with a chance to win £100, a Christmas cake and a family panto ticket.
Refreshments, toys, games, books a tombola and much more will also be available during the day.
The charity, which helps re-home needy dogs, many of which have been saved from local authority pounds, is hoping to raise £1,800 from the event.
“I have calls from other charities on a regular basis who have reached their kennel limits to rescue pound dogs; they know that the next dog has only days to live and need to find kennel spaces wherever they can to save that perfectly innocent and healthy dog from being destroyed,” said Keith.
The charity currently has around 80 dogs in its care, all of which have experienced traumatic times, and funds raised go to the well-being and the ongoing search for suitable homes. If you have room in your heart and home, call the charity on 01754 763543 or visit www.keithsrescuedogs.org
