The Storehouse on North Parade in Skegness will hold a mental health workshop on Friday, October 31.
Beginning at noon and finishing at 4pm, the NHS call out for young people aged between 13 – 17 to attend.
The workshop is being run by Lincolnshire East Clinical Commissioning Group and aims to understand young peoples’ perceptions of the NHS.
Attendees will be asked to share what they think the health service looks like and what, for them, the positive and negative aspects of the NHS are.
“We’re also keen to ask young people how they would design the health system in Lincolnshire,” explains Tracy Pilcher, Chief Nurse, Lincolnshire East CCG.
“We would really like to understand what young people think the health service would look like if it was designed with people their own age in mind,” she added.
In addition, Lincolnshire East CCG would like to understand what is important to young people, in terms of addressing specific mental health issues, as well as how these issues might affect young people.
Everyone who attends will receive lunch and a £10 Love to Shop voucher.
If you would like to attend please confirm your attendance by Wednesday, October 22, either by email firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephoning 01522 515364.
