Marie Curie representatives will be marking World Cancer Support Day on Wednesday, February 4 at the Hildreds Shopping Centre in Skegness.

Fundraisers from the charity will be in the Hildreds to raise awareness of cancer and sell daffodil broaches.

The Hildreds Centre will be supporting the charity by introducing its “Wear a Wacky Wig to Work on Wednesday Campaign.”

Centre manager, Steve Andrews, explained: “All you have to do is turn up to work - anywhere in Skegness wearing a wacky wig, then pop into the Hildreds and donate £1 to Marie Curie on the day.

“Organise it among your friends at work and send us a picture of yourselves wearing a wacky wig and we will be happy to share it on the Hildreds Facebook and Twitter pages. We hope lots of people participate, have fun on the day and help raise money for charity at the same time.”
