The Care Quality Commission are to inspect the Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust and are asking the public to give their experiences of when they have accessed the trust’s services over the past 12 months.

The Care Quality Commission will be inspecting community health services in the Lincolnshire area from September 8.

Services include Gainsborough, Spalding, Skegness and Louth community hospitals, walk-in and out-of-hours services, community nursing, health visiting, sexual health support, physiotherapy, speech therapy, diabetes and palliative care.

The inspection team is very interested to hear from anyone who has used services in the last 12 months.

The inspection team is also keen to hear evidence from local voluntary and community groups about the quality and safety of care that their members and service users have experienced.

They would like the public to send in their experiences by Monday, August 25.

You can send reports, people’s stories of care or other evidence you or your group holds about people’s care to enquiries@cqc.org.uk, by post to CQC, Citygate, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4PA, or you can ring CQC on 03000 616161. Put the name of the service you are sending information about in the title to help ensure the correct information is passed to the right inspection team.

You can also send evidence of high-quality care as well as any concerns you have identified.

The information will be used to help the inspection team plan the inspection and what to look for on the inspection.

The team will ask these five questions about the trust and its services:

- Is it safe?

- Is it effective?

- Is it caring?

- Is it responsive to people’s needs?

- Is it well-led?
