East Lindsey offering ‘virtual gyms’ in Ingoldmells, Wainfleet St Mary and Spilsby
East Lindsey District Council is offering local residents who want to become healthier free personal appointments with a Health Trainer.
The free service with a health trainer, which is NHS funded and completely confidential, is available to anyone over the age of 16 and will give practical support and guidance to help them achieve their goals and overcome barriers to become healthier and feel happier.
The council’s Health Trainers can also direct residents to different local services and activities that will improve health.
Locally the district council also providees a number of ‘virtual gyms’.
“These are a good way to socialise and keep physically active; fun, social circuit classes using Easyline TechnoGym resistance equipment suitable for any fitness level,” said a spokesperson.
“Participants must be over the age of 16 years. The sessions are led by fully qualified staff for only £2 a session.” The virtual gyms take place at Ingoldmells in the Royal Arthur Centre on Monday and Friday from 10am to 11am; in Wainfleet St. Mary Community Hall on Tuesday and Thursday from 10am until 11am, and in Spilsby’s Franklin Hall on Monday from 2pm to 3pm and Wednesday from 11am to noon.
