Group donates medical equipment to hospital

New equipment has been donated to Skegness Hospital with funds raised by a support group from local businesses and public donations.

Skegness Hospital Watch have been able to provide another 24 hour heart digital recorder with money raised in 2014.

A Siemens Clinitek Urine machine has also been funded and will be in use at the hospital shortly.

Hospital Watch has asked the hospital if they have need of any further medical equipment to assist them and save patients in Skegness area, a long trip to other hospitals.

Hospital Watch chairman Eddie Gasson, said: “once again we are delighted with the fundraising efforts of Geoff Poulter and the team, we are very grateful to the people of Skegness and the many businesses who have raised funds throughout the year for our local community hospital. I would encourage anyone interested in health issues to join us at our monthly meetings”.

Skegness Hospital Watch meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month. The next meeting will take place on Thursday, February 19, 7pm at the Crown Hotel, Drummond Road, Skegness. All Welcome to attend.
