STUDENTS from part of school charity committee presented a cheque of £1,650 to Lincolnshire Linkage and The Make a Wish Foundation recently.
The money was raised by Skegness Grammar School’s Charity Committee through various events held last year.
The committee is run by year 12 pupils and this year’s chairs are Christina Akintoye and Sam Rowson.
They will be raising for Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire Air Ambulance and Help for Heroes.
Mr Nuttall, Head of Sixth Form, said: “The charity committee is an integral part of the sixth Form.
“It is an opportunity for the students to develop team work and organisational skills, while raising awareness of and supporting, important causes, both locally and nationally.”
Mr Ward, Headmaster, said: “I am delighted with the independent enthusiasm and drive the charity committee have shown to support these worthy charities.”
