Gainsborough MP hails Burton hedge victory
The Gainsborough MP has welcomed Lincs County Council's announcement that they will not be destroying the yew hedge at Burton.
Sir Edward Leigh sent a letter asking the council to council to reconsider and in response, the council have announced they are merely requiring the hedge to be trimmed back to clear about three-and-a-quarter feet.
