A NEW Funk Bus programme has been released in East Lindsey and the district council is encouraging young people to go along and have a great time.
The bus has been operating in the area since May 2008 and delivers play activities to rural and more isolated communities.
David Willoughby, cultural officer at the council, said: “The Funk Bus brings free play activities to young people aged between 11 and 19.
“It is a safe, supervised and welcoming area for young people to play, while meeting others and making new friends.
“It is open to all young people in the community to come along and join in.”
Those attending can enjoy everything from games consoles and freeview TV to PC and internet access.
The programme will run from January to March and visit Alford (Thursdays from 6.30pm to 8pm), Hogsthorpe (Thursdays from 4pm to 6pm), Wainfleet (Mondays between 4pm and 6pm), Ingoldmells (Tuesdays from 6pm until 8pm), Spilsby (Wednesdays between 4pm and 5.30pm) and Winthorpe (Mondays from 6.30pm until 8pm).
