Community groups in Skegness and surrounding villages will be able to get free funding advice and support at a new Community Group Surgery run by Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service.
Groups will be able to have a chat with the service’s community development team to get support for their projects, from helping to source funders and write applications, to information about setting up groups and making sure you have the right policies in place.
Adam Dixon, Community Development Officer said: “Whether you need £200 to run a community event event or £50,000 to refurbish a village hall, we can help you to find and apply for funding.
“After having a talk about your project over a cup of coffee we’ll point you in the direction of appropriate funders and help you throughout the application process to give your bid the best chance of success.
“We encourage any group in the area to come along and find out how we can help you.”
The Skegness Community Group Surgery will take place monthly, starting on Wednesday, October 23 at St Matthew’s Church, Lumley Avenue, Skegness.
Groups are asked to book their timeslot prior to the event by contacting the service’s community development team on (01507) 613080 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
