A local group of pubgoers from Skegness, Ingoldmells and Chapel, who earlier in the year launched a 2014 charity calender to be sold raising money to help fight cancer have organised another night of fundraising.

Once again, the group headed by dedicated cancer charity organiser Karen Wright, will channel their energies into raising for two cancer charities as all the proceeds of the, ‘We Share One Life’ 2014 calendar will be split fifty-fifty with Cancer Research and Macmillan Cancer Care.

After losing a dear friend to the disease some years ago, Karen said:

“We’re supporting Cancer Research because we need a cure, but until there’s a cure, we need to still fund the Macmillan Nurses.”

The frightfully fun charity bash will take place at the Ex Servicemen’s Club on Grand Parade and will once again remind the local community that the calendar, for 2014, which featured eleven local pubs can still be purchased for £5.

This years event, held on Thursday, October 31, will carry a Halloween and famous people theme as people are invited to dress as famous people.

Entertainment agency Noel Gee Associates have kindly supplied a whole host of artist to perform on the night, with Noel as compere, which will begin from 8pm.
