The First World War is the inspiration behind Firsby Flower Festival this weekend. Held at St Andrew’s Church, the display reflect the 100th anniversary of the conflict alongside a collection of memorabilia including flags, badges and emblems.
The festival takes place on Saturday 10am to 6pm and Sunday 10am to 5pm. On Sunday the festival will be followed by Songs of Praise service. Admission is free, but donations to church funds are welcome. Refreshments will be served and raffle and tombola held.
