AN OPEN day will be offering, fun, food and fire safety tips for everyone in the community.
It takes place at Skegness Fire Station, Churchill Avenue on Thursday, July 26 at 11am.
“How about the chance to see our firefighters practice for a world record attempt in ladder climbing?” said a spokesperson.
Station Manager Gary Millson said: “The open day will help to demonstrate what we do, what services we offer and how we are working to make the community a safer place.
“I hope people take the opportunity to come down and meet their local fire crews, take part in some of the activities and have a fun day out.”
Individuals can see if you have what it takes to be a firefighter, experience an inflatable smoke house or try their hand at spotting fire hazards, among other things.
There will also be plenty of competitions with some great prizes and any proceeds made on the day will go to the Firefighters Charity.
