Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service is supporting National Road Safety Week in a bid to stop five people a day being killed on the UK’s roads.

The service took to Twitter to show its support and spread the campaign message.

Co-ordinated by road safety charity Brake, the campaign is being promoted with the slogan ‘Look Out For Each Other.’ Drivers are being urged to protect pedestrians and cyclists by sticking to 20mph speed limits in residential areas, being cautious at road junctions and giving other road users plenty of room.
