Wildlife fun at nature reserve

WILDLIFE lovers will be well catered for at the Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve south of Skegness this Sunday, September 16.

The popular nature reserve will hold a High Tide Waders birdwatching event and also their latest Seawatch.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, which runs the site, said: “High Tide Waders is a chance to learn more about autumn seabirds and their movements around the Wash.

“This time of year is great for watching the waders pushed up by the high tide.

“Seawatch will be taking place on the beach, out from Mill Hill.

“Park at the beach car park and follow the path to the beach.

The events run from 5.30pm to 8pm and are free.

Booking is advised on 01754 898 057.
