Recycle unwanted clutter at sites across Lincolnshire
Many residents have now taken down their Christmas decorations and with the New Year the county council is urging those having a clear out to learn about what can be recycled.
There are 13 county council sites across Lincolnshire and the authority is advising residents that Christmas trees – both real and plastic – will be accepted.
Other items include batteries, books and CDs, cooking oil and small electrical appliances.
Ian Taylor, Waste Operations, said: “It’s also a typical time of the year to dispose of old items which Santa has replaced – the sites will take them all.”
