Residents can now subscribe for green waste collections in East Lindsey to start during the fortnight following March 31.
The service, which sees green waste bins emptied fortnightly, controversially costs £25, although it will now run all year - bar a two week break over Christmas.
The council’s Portfolio Holder for the Environment, Cllr Steve Newton, said: “The new green waste service will see a return to the all year round service that was highly valued in some areas when the change to seasonal collection was introduced.
“It will also save the council in the region of £800,000 a year in the face of further Government funding cuts and will help to safeguard front line services.”
