Fly-tippers urged to beware - ELDC

FLY-TIPPERS have been urged to ‘beware’ or they ‘will be caught’ by the district council after several instances have been recorded.

East Lindsey District Council recorded 15 instances of fly-tipping in eight weeks outside Skegness Household Waste Recycling Centre in Warth Lane.

The district council has received complaints from the local community and they say action will be taken against those responsible once caught.

The maximum penalty for fly-tipping is £50,000 and up to six months imprisonment.

The council is appealing for anyone with information regarding the incidents to contact flytipping@e-lindsey.gov.uk or 0800 195 5228.
