AN APPLICATION to build six, 100 metre tall wind turbines in Croft has been submitted to East Lindsey District Council.
Opponents to the proposal have already expressed their determination to prevent what they see as the further industrialisation of rural Lincolnshire.
Croft Windfarm Action Group chairman Melvin Grosvenor said: “From my initial impressions of viewing the application, I’m staggered that they are trying to shoehorn six huge turbines into a very small pocket of land which could cause further problems down the line. I’m going over the application with a fine tooth-combe.”
If approved the development will feature six 100 metre turbines with 40 metre blades.
