Chapel St Leonards scheme to report dog fouling
Irresponsible dog owners who allow their pets to foul the streets will not be tolerated in Chapel St Leonards, the parish council has resolved.
Councillors agreed recently to do everything within their power to prosecute inconsiderate owners by working with other agencies.
A spokesperson for the council said: “Dog fouling is not only a nuisance, it is a health hazard - it will not be tolerated in Chapel St Leonards.”
The council was keen to point out that the majority of dog owners were responsible and it was just a minority who gave others a bad name.
