Young entrepreneurs capitalise on Christmas
Entrepreneurial spirited youngsters helped raise £800 for new playground equipment during Spilsby Primary School’s annual Christmas fair recently.
Pupils from every class manned stalls selling cakes, Christmas tree decorations and homemade gift ideas, while the choir entertained crowds with a carol concert during the successful event.
Teacher Zoe Brader said: “It was an absolutely amazing success - we could not have wished for a better Christmas fair and all of the children did a brilliant job.”
The money raised will go towards a £20,000 project to install new playground equipment at the school.
