THE Sunshine Children’s Centre in Burgh le Marsh enjoyed a double-celebration at the weekend.

It marked it’s fourth birthday on Saturday with the launch of its bid for Healthy Early Years status.

The group is hoping to instill healthy eating at an early age.

To that end its birthday bash had a healthy theme, with everything from children’s zumba sessions to healthy tombola prizes among the day’s activities.

As it was bonfire night the children also had the chance to draw some fantastic fireworks pictures as well.

“We had a fantastic time at the children’s zumba session,” said the centre’s Lisa Broomfield. “It was a great afternoon all round.”
