Spilsby pupils welcome senior citizens
The meal at the Academy.
Local senior citizens attended a Christmas Lunch at the King Edward VI Academy in Spilsby last week.
The meal was prepared at the academy, and Year 11 Hospitality & Catering students assisted with preparation and serving.
The visitors were entertained by the academy choir and many joined in with singing Christmas carols.
A raffle was held at the end of the event and all visitors left with some mince pies to enjoy at home.
