THE photographic skills of students at a Spilsby college have been honoured.

Youngsters at the King Edward VI Humanities College were recently asked to contribute their personal photography for a display on the walls of the new Eco Barn.

“The standard of photography and range of subjects were very diverse and the judges had an extremely difficult task in selecting the winners,” said a spokesperson.

“Philip Gilbert was the overall winner, but all competitors achieved an extremely high level of artistic expertise,” they added.

Parents will get the chance to view all of the competition entries in the Eco Barn during an open evening at the college on Wednesday, September 14 between 5pm and 8.30pm.
