Skegness Youth Council planned

THE youngest Skegness town councillor spoke to Skegness Grammar School students who are interested in politics and in joining a proposed youth council last week.

Coun Robin Hunter-Clarke gave a presentation on how the youth council would work and also took any questions on any issues in Skegness that were important to young people. These included the train station, high street shops shutting down and the potential hotel on North Parade.

Skegness Youth Council is open to everyone who lives in the Skegness area who is 19 and under.

An introductory meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 7 at 5.30pm in Skegness Town Hall. Everyone is welcome.
