A SKEGNESS Grammar School pupil is celebrating after she won a place at the world-renowned Italia Conti School of Dance.
The school has produced many well-known entertainers, including Pixie Lott and Russell Brand.
And following her successful application Skegness youngster Laura Clark will be following those illustrious names into the school.
Her success comes in the footsteps of another SGS pupil, Cameron Hall, who also won a scholarship in 2010.
“The selection process is rigorous as there is fierce competition for a limited number of places,” said a Skegness Grammar spokesperson.
“Laura has been dancing for over 10 years and has worked extremely hard to achieve her goal.
“At the audition she had to demonstrate her ability in singing and acting, as well as dancing,” they added.
Laura’s studies start in September and she hopes to achieve an Academy Diploma in Performing Arts.
