School radio in grant cash boost
A COUNCILLOR has given a grant to a school radio station to help it purchase portable equipment.
Coun Ken Milner gave £400 to Skegness Grammar School Radio for the purchase of portable radio equipment through East Lindsey District Council’s Community Grants Scheme.
SGS Radio was started in 2011. The radio team develops new features and programmes and encourages the students to take on production of the shows.
