Students gaining A* and A grades increased by 10 per cent compared with last year and overall there was also an increase in the pass rate.
Head teacher David Ward said: “These represent a positive and encouraging set of results with the mast majority achieving a very good set of grades.
“Congratulations to all students for their hard work, in particular Polly Jacobs and Thomas Nuttall who achieved A*s in all their GCSEs as well as a further 12 students who achieved a minimum of seven A and A* grades.
“My thanks also go to the staff for their hard work and to the parents for their support.”
