Polish residents in supplementary school meeting
The Polish community in Skegness is set to hold a public meeting to discuss the possibility of forming a ‘Polish Supplementary School’ in the area.
The move comes after a public meeting last year with the Polish community in Skegness and a subsequent questionnaire that families completed, which showed what organisers have called “a very clear interest” in the creation of the new supplementary school.
“In order to progress this we would like to invite those families (and others interested in supporting this project) to a meeting to find out more about what a Supplementary School involves on Sunday, January 6 at 2.30pm,” said a spokesperson.
The meeting will take place at the Sacred Heart Church Hall in Grosvenor Road and members of staff from the LCC Ethnic Minority and Traveller Education Team will be in
attendance.
The meeting will also consider any other issues important to the Polish community.
